OUR CHARISM

As Franciscan Sisters of the Heart of Jesus, we strive hard to live the Gospel fully, according to the form inspired to St Francis of Assisi, in order to conformer life to it and to be in the world a sign of sincere humility, joyful simplicity, evangelical poverty, cordial fraternity, apostolic zeal and service to our brothers and sisters.

Living the seal of the evangelical minority, which our Father St Francis assumed as a distinctive sign of his life and of his Order, through our way behaving, living and working in the Church and in the world.  We also place at the centre of our life an ardent love for the Heart of Jesus in the Eucharist.  In contemplating this mystery we imitate Christ’s attitudes, in His adoration, immolation and reparation which leads us to total and confident abandonment to the divine will and to cooperate in promoting the coming of His Kingdom especially among the poor.
